Online Writing Community
theNextBigWriter is a private community where writers can develop their writing, receive feedback on their work, and receive recognition from other writers and readers. We mapped out the technical requirements, created the functional blueprint, and designed a unique look and feel for the site.
The website is driven by an advanced publishing system that allows aspiring writers to post their work to the online community. Once a writer publishes, that community is able to read, review, and rate the submission. The system also uses a complex system to rank each work posted. We also integrated a message board with the publishing site, providing readers and writers a chance to deepen their dialogue and feedback.
