Our Design Process.At 3 Media Web Solutions, we strive to forge and maintain an organic, developing relationship with each and every one of our clients. With this in mind, we let our clients become as involved in the design process as they wish to be while we step through each stage of our design and development process:
Step One: Pre-Design
- Each client is assigned a project manager who oversees the overall development of their web site - a seasoned Internet professional who will work hand-in-hand with the client throughout the development process.
- After further consultation, the client is given a "pre-design" form, allowing them to tailor their website exactly as they'd like, from the colors and general style to the overall conceptual design of the site.
Step Two: Design
- Following the client's vision - outlined in the pre-design form and fleshed out through consultation with the project manager - our team of professional designers creates an initial design framework for the client's review.
- The initial design is made available 24 hours a day, via a secure, password-protected Internet-accessible web site, so that the client may assess and evaluate our work on their own schedule and as often as they wish.
Step Three: Programming Integration and Design Completion*
- At the client's request, the web site is sent to our team of technical experts for programming additions (shopping carts, database integration, etc.)
- Once programming is completed, our design team works in concert with our technical team to seamlessly integrate any and all programming features with the final site design.
Step Four: Functionality Check
- As design is finalized, each and every one of our clients receives a full site review for Quality Assurance.
- The site is handed off from design to "QA" (Quality Assurance). QA works separately from design, making sure the site is fully functional, error-free, and as close to the client's original vision as possible.
- The client's web site is thoroughly checked for spelling errors, broken links, and any flaws in functionality before being returned to design.
Step Five: Final Check and Site Launch
- After the site is received back from QA, the project manager contacts the client via their preferred mode of communication for final approval of the web site.
- Once final approval is received from the client, the site is "sent live" and launched.
Step Six: Search Engine Registration and Site Promotion*
- Once the client's web site is online, our Web Marketing/New Media experts develop a plan customized to each client's particular business in order to drive visitors to their site, increase their site's web presence, and insure a regular flow of traffic that will help the site to grow into a highly profitable tool for the client.
- Depending on the client's goals, this may include Yahoo and Inktomi deluxe registration, optimization for Top 20 search engine rankings, online "bidding" for highly desirable keywords, banner advertising, demographically or geo-targeted affiliate marketing, content creation and/or editing, customer newsletters, and other promotional services.
