Inbound 2018 Speakers: 261 Influencers & Their Breakout Session Talks

INBOUND is incredible. If you’re going, we’ll see you there. Look for the most crazy-excited agency team in the building. You’ll see (or probably hear) us.

If you’re not going, you probably have serious FOMO. Rightfully so. Sorry, but it’s gonna be mind-bogglingly awesome AGAIN this year. Just like last year and all the years before.

But there’s a problem.

What about the other 90%?

Inbound 2018 Breakout Speakers Awesomeness Graph. INBOUND does an outstanding job of promoting and exemplifying diversity in their speaker line-up. Major, major, major kudos to the HubSpot/INBOUND event teams.

Their line-up is seriously impressive in diversity, scope, and most of all—scale! The lineup is HUGE.

When you have 250+ speakers in 3 days, it’s impossible to promote everybody who’s speaking or leading a session at the conference.

INBOUND’s website highlights the biggest names and keynote speakers first and foremost—for obvious reasons. And as well they should.

But those keynote and featured speakers—26 in all—make up about 10% of the total number of speakers.

The Breakout Sessions—the other 90%—make up that vast majority of the education happening at the epic event.

So we thought we’d spend some time researching and highlighting the Breakout Speakers—a group that often doesn’t get enough recognition for their info, leadership, and downright hard work.

If you’re still a big Twitter user, you know how crucial lists are. We compiled not one but two lists of INBOUND speakers:

One list of the speakers themselves, and another one of their brands, organizations, and companies.

Inbound 2018 Breakout Speakers

Without further ado, here’s our massive list of the Breakout Speakers for INBOUND 2018.

We chose to omit the keynotes from this list, and we’re working on organizing the list by speaker, company, and date/time. But in the meantime, please enjoy an epic list!

Think Like a Startup: Lessons for Women in Tech

1:00pm – 1:45pm | Sep 7

Key Takeaways

  • Discover how to know your value — startups solve problems that must be solved; as women, we must understand what we have to offer and apply what we know in creative and compelling ways
  • Learn how to build a killer team — women, like startups,  must surrounded themselves with best-in-class expertise; having our own board of directors helps us succeed and reach short and long-term career goals
  • Start to embrace reinvention — remember, YouTube began as a video dating site; startups change their names, their logos, their models — women should be open to innovating themselves and pivoting too

Intended Audience

  • Women in all stages of their careers—from entry-level go-getters to well-established professionals
  • Women from large and small companies
  • Women looking to get ahead in technology-related fields and other industries
