Meet Our New Project Manager, Kelly Koch
Kelly joined the 3 Media Web team a couple of months ago and has hit the ground running as she learns all about our website design and digital marketing services, our project processes, and our project management tools. She is already supporting clients and our internal teams and making an impact.

A Different Path Led to Project Management
At the start of her career, Kelly spent years working in her family’s recreation business as her parents owned and operated a country club. Once they retired, she seized the opportunity to do something new. She accepted a job as a quality assurance technician with a software development company, LockData Technologies. Her pitch to the company was, “I’m great at details and problem-solving. If you’re willing to take a chance, I’m willing to learn.” And learn she did, including becoming versed in the agile process.
Her experience at LockData gave her other valuable skills, including the ability to be the communication point between clients and internal resources. She also has an interesting view into the developer’s mind as a result of her QA work. Another of her responsibilities saw her acting as a scrum master, which is basically a more technical–scrappier sounding–term for project manager.
Injecting Agility into Our Processes
After being in a business closely tied to Broadway ticketing, Kelly was thrilled to join a growing, thriving business. She was also happy about how people from all different backgrounds come together to make 3 Media Web a success, noting that “the amount of knowledge that is in this relatively small group of people is amazing. Everybody is an expert in what they’re doing.”
“I’m excited that I am bringing a different perspective of project management at 3 Media Web,” continues Kelly. “Coming from an agile process, I look forward to bringing in what I know and streamlining the process wherever possible.”

It’s All About Community–and Dogs
Kelly was born and raised in Northeast PA and maintains close ties with her family living close by. She has two crazy dogs, a 10-year-old Pug, Lulu, and a Brussels Griffon pup named Stella. She is happy to share her life with her boyfriend, Brian, who is the director of digital strategy for a software company. They bounce ideas off of each other to get a fresh perspective on projects they’re working on.
Happy about the warmer weather, Kelly is looking forward to spending time in the yard, wrangling the flowers, hosting bustling neighborhood bonfires, and hanging out with friends.
She is also active with her local VFW. She and Brian became social members a couple of years ago and are now very much involved in all of the organization’s fundraising activities, which benefit veterans or other community causes.
Whether supporting local folks, caring for her creatures, or shepherding projects to completion, Kelly brings dedication, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn to all of her endeavors. She looks forward to helping clients achieve their objectives and having a great experience collaborating with everyone at 3 Media Web.
