The Client: OTW Safety
Since 1993, OTW Safety has been committed to enhancing public safety by intentionally designing the most innovative safety equipment on the market. They directly manufacture reliable and durable plastic barricade solutions for airports, crowd control, traffic and construction, and security applications worldwide.
Challenge: Dated Digital Presence Didn’t Impress
OTW needed a more modern website that engaged visitors and was easy for internal administrators to use. Already a satisfied support client of 3 Media Web, the company partnered with us to realize their goals for this much-needed website redesign.
Solution: Revamp the Site with Cutting-Edge UX/UI
We were happy to extend our relationship with OTW and collaborate on a new digital presence that positions them as a plastic barricades and safety equipment market leader.
We started by crafting a seamless navigation path that makes it easy for site visitors to find and digest relevant content. We also designed new page layouts and an all-encompassing toolkit that emphasized key elements of their branding (the safety orange) while incorporating a deep blue to ground the site and make it easy on the eyes.
Our team also set up Hubspot form integrations, initiated a Google Analytics 4 tracking strategy and audit, and migrated blogs and resources, including assisting with a filtering and categorization system.
Throughout the project, we kept the lines of communication open, provided additional training as needed, and adjusted our process to ensure a smooth launch. From onboarding to launch, it took a short 17 weeks, in line with OTW’s eagerness to quickly go live with a new site and thanks to their responsiveness and constructive feedback.
The Results
The optimized website has higher site speed, which positively impacts SEO and provides a better user experience. The new site is also easier to use on the backend, allowing the client to make their own updates more efficiently. The elevated design showcases OTW’s expertise.
Moving forward, this more professional website with better calls to action and content structure will increase the benefits of their marketing efforts.
